About Us
Meet Amanda Miller
I started writing resumes in 1996 at the behest of a college professor who implored me with, “You’re a good writer, and I need a resume. Will you write mine for me?”
Knowing next to nothing about resumes, I borrowed a book from the library and got to work. The document I created was effective, and that success encouraged me to start writing resumes professionally.
My first entrepreneurial endeavor, Career-Oriented Resumes, ran in the background while I worked in college admissions and marketing. Then, in 2006, I launched my firm full-time. Initially called The Grammar Doctors, the name changed to Ink & Quill Communications in 2015 and is now comfortably a DBA: Your Career Advocate.
I love nothing more than supporting and educating job seekers as they transition from one role to a better one. I am eager to help you in your journey as your writer, coach, and guide.
